Dr. Padmakshi Singh
Dr. Padmakshi Singh specializes in the field of general cardiology with an interest in preventive cardiology, women heart health, cardiac risk assessment and cardiovascular risk modification. Her practice focuses on chronic long term management of heart disease which includes coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, hyperlipidemia, hypertension. Dr. Singh will work with you to treat your heart disease along with modifying risk factors for a heart attack. She provides continuity of care from an inpatient to outpatient setting to ensure ease of all your care.
Dr. Singh completed her medical school training from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences. She went on to do her residency in internal medicine from Saint Michaels Medical Center, NJ. She subsequently spent two years working as research assistant at Saint Luke’s Medical center, NYC. Dr. Singh then completed her critical care fellowship from Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYC. Her drive and passion for cardiology lead her to complete cardiology fellowship from Beth Israel medical center / SUNY downstate medical center, NY.
Dr. Singh is board certified in General Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. She is currently affiliated to Northshore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Singh experience in research and prior publications, with experience in critical care medicine allows Dr. Singh to provide the cutting-edge and most newly developed cardiac diagnosis and therapeutic strategies.
